"Brothers and sisters, unless we have that perfect faith then we are not going to make it into the Kingdom of God. We've got to get away from this ritualistic thing about some rapture that's gonna take place and sweep us away. Or some outstanding thing that's gonna take place, and all we've got to do is say "I believe" and that takes care of it. Don't you know that just because you believe, that doesn't mean anything. The Bible says, and I remind you of this over and over, that if you believe there's one God you do well, the devil believes just like you do. The devil believes there's a God, he believes there's one God, and he trembles every time he thinks about it. But that doesn't mean the devil's got salvation no more than it means you've got salvation. The Bible said without God's spirit you're none of His. I don't care how much you believe, you've got to have God's spirit! If you don't have God's spirit you don't belong to God. God is a spirit, there is no life except in the spirit, friend. Now if there was any eternal life in believing, I'd say just believe. But there is no eternal life in believing. Life is in the spirit, not in believing. Believing is the means by which we come to know the spirit. That is the way we contact the spirit."
