“So, you know, we strain at a gnat and we swallow a camel. The blind lead the blind, they all fall into the ditch, and it don’t amount to a hill of beans. Not a hill of beans. Somebody said, “Well if you was the president, Brother Pike, just look what you would be.” What would you be? Somebody said, “Well he sleeps in the White House.” Well I sleep in my house, so what’s that? I’ve been in the White House, I don’t even like it. I’ve been through there. I don’t even like the arrangements of it, I don’t even like the White House. So I wouldn’t even wanna sleep up there or stay up there; I wouldn’t even be comfortable there.”
