A Place of Holiness - 1973 - Preached at Love's Temple in Monroe, GA.

"Jesus said, "I will received you. I will received you." But the church-world tonight is waiting, Brother John. They're sitting around waiting for something to take place that will never take place! They're waiting tonight for something to take place that will never take place! But them that know God, they're not waiting for something to take place. The Bible said the law and the prophets were until John, since that time the kingdom has been preached, and men pressed their way into the kingdom of God! The Kingdom of God is nigh at hand, Jesus said. Go preach the Kingdom of God is nigh at hand. Amen! The church-world tonight has preached everything but what God told them to preach. He told them to repent of their sins, and to preach that the Kingdom of God is at hand. Some fellow come over and talked to me and said, "I tell you, you're not very far from the kingdom." You're not very far from the kingdom. Folks you're a lot closer to the kingdom tonight than you think you are. Hallelujah."

"The world today don't know what we're talking about. You know why? Because they're a bunch of religious fanatics. They belong to the Methodist, they belong to the Baptist, they belong to the Pentecostal, they belong to the Presbyterian, they belong to the Catholic, but they don't belong to God! That's where the trouble is, they don't belong to God. Somebody said, "Now Brother Pike how do you know they don't belong to God?" Because they don't act like God's children"

"They don't care about anything, like a bunch of beasts when they get together. They don't care whether they're married or not married. They marry one time and two times and ten times, like out in Hollywood, they don't care how many times they get married. As long as they get what they want, they get a chunk of somebody's money, and go on to another one. I think some of them, when they get married, they have mutual agreements that they'll live together a little while, and share their money, and then go find them another companion. Filth. Filth. But God has called us to glory and virtue. God has called us unto Holiness. God has called us unto cleanliness."
