"Now sometimes people wonder why I get a little strong in the things I say. But you know, like I asked my wife the other night (I hope you don't mind me just talking to you a little bit), but like I asked my wife the other day, I said, "Betty people wonder why I come down so strong against the Olympics." And I said, "Can you tell me truthfully from your heart, without regards to me as a minister or regards to me as a husband, Just out of your own feelings. Is ballgames, Olympics, is that something from God? Is that from the mind of Christ?" She said, "No." I said, "Well, is it from the carnal mind?" She said, "Yes." I said, "Well, if that be the case then I ought to preach against it. I should lift my voice against it." Now should I only lift my voice against it, or should every true man of God life his voice against it? Should every true person of God lift their voice against it? Someone would say, "Well why?" Because The Bible said to be carnally minded is death, and I'm preaching against death. And preaching that Jesus Christ is the prince of life, and that He's come to give you life, and that more abundant."
